Sage PFW ERP Retirement and options for next steps
How does the saying go? “The only thing that is constant is change” (Heraclitus). Well it’s been just over a month since Sage announced that PFW ERP and Sage Pro ERP will be retired and as that knowledge sinks in other questions arise! What’s next? What if I have PFW? What are my options? No worries…at Mantralogix we’ve got you covered! We’ve got details on the retirement, information on trade-in discounts, and offers for monthly webcasts to support you.
Sage decided on these product retirements given that they are built on a framework that is now obsolete. Sage will continue to support them until March 31, 2014 and any critical updates will be available until then. There are lots more retirement questions with corresponding questions available from Sage directly including the advantages of continuing with your Business Care plan!
There are some compelling reasons to move to a modern ERP system with Sage. Some of these include improved critical business processes, leveraging upgraded technology, and definitely taking advantage of additional functionality. You definitely want to get the ball rolling now on selecting a new system because Sage will provide you with credits (which are based on your existing Sage PFW ERP license and which product you switch to) – this offer is available if you trade up on or before September 30, 2013. More details are available at http://sagepfw.com/nextsteps/ along with offers to register for live monthly webcasts.
