Reflections from our 19 year old summer student on his internship at Mantralogix

manvir singhIt is the last day of my internship at Mantralogix as I am writing this blog and I cannot believe how fast time has gone by. As exciting as it is to return back to university on September 7th, it is equally as upsetting to leave Mantralogix today. These past two months have been an incredible and rewarding experience, which has taught me a lot. [break2]In such a short period of time, I feel I have accomplished a lot and grown professionally. One of the greatest features of being a Mantralogix intern was that I was given the opportunity to utilize my strengths to face challenging and interesting projects whilst improving on my weaknesses. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects ranging from organizing files to establishing complex databases. [break2]These projects were all so rewarding to work on and I greatly appreciate the input I was able to contribute to them as I have learned a lot from them. For one, I learned about the necessity to maintain a neat and organized filing cabinet to ensure easy access to customer files. Without a stable core, it is difficult to manage and maintain a steady relationship with customers. Furthermore, this crucial lesson will be very beneficial as I apply it to my own real-world situations such as my future university endeavours.[break2]But by far, one of the most rewarding aspects about interning at Mantralogix is the people that work here. I have had the opportunity to work with a group of kindhearted and supportive people whom I am glad to call my friends. They’ve made my time at Mantralogix much more enjoyable and I simply cannot thank them enough for that.
I am so grateful to Jess and Kerry for granting me the opportunity to work at Mantralogix and I wish them all the best of luck in the future.
