How to Open Multiple Instances of a Single Object in Sage 300
While working with Sage 300 I came across the need to view two purchase orders at the same time in order to compare them. By default when you click on any transaction icon within Sage 300 the system will open the same screen instead of a new instance of the object. Sage 300 provides an option called “Multiple Copy”. This allows you to open multiple instances of a single object.
In order to activate this feature:
1. Right click on any icon and select “Properties”.
2. In the new dialogue box that appears select the “Start Multiple Copies”>click on “Apply”>then click on “OK”.
Now when you double click on an icon multiple times the system will open multiple instance of that single object.
