The wholesaler initially implemented Sage’s Platinum for Windows (PFW) software to manage its financials; a solution that is less than ideal for a growing business. W.C. Smith, therefore, began the search for a new partner and solution, once the PFW licenses expired.

Opting to stay within the Sage family of products, the wholesaler chose to partner with Mantralogix, an IT consulting firm providing ERP, CRM, and enterprise software solutions to small and medium-sized businesses in Canada and the United States.

The Results

Moving into phase two of the implementation, W.C. Smith and Mantralogix are only scratching the surface with regards to Sage 300 and its capabilities, as the business continues to grow. Although the technology curve still proved to be challenging, Mantralogix was able to parse out the process, allowing the transition to be simpler than expected.
